Safe practices are needed for internet usage at all times for our children

Today's technology is moving at a rapid rate.  As educators and parents it is up to us to make sure that we keep up with the technology to keep our children/students safe.  This is going to be difficult because of the rate that technology is progressing at such a rapid rate that the learning gap is increasing between adults and students.  What is the best way to address the problem of as adults how do we keep them safe?

What are some of the ways that we can do to help protect our children?  There are  many wonderful tools out there to help both educators and adults/parents to  use.One of the most user friendly publisher's that I have found is the federal government.  The F.B.I. has not only written guidelines for the parent and adults, but it also incorporates interactive games.  These games are intended to teach children safe computer use.

As adults there is a need for us to have a series of teaching tools that can educate us on how to protect our children from online preditors.  The more information that is made available to us will in turn help us to be more responsible in the ways to protect our children.
